Live music events across the city of Manchester


INDEPENDENCE AND COLLABORATIVE CULTURES
The 2006 theme looks at collaborative culture and
independence movements in music, art and technology


MY EVNT - THE DIY FESTIVAL
A semi-open strand of independent events, featuring a
competition for new and emerging events


SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES SUMMIT
A new conference on social technologies new and old,
from sound systems to blogging and web 2.0


PERVASIVE AND LOCATIVE ARTS NETWORK
An exhibition and conference featuring interactive city walks,
collaborative mapping, the urban environment as a digital canvas

OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Each year Futuresonic invites project submissions. The
first call for Futuresonic 2006 closed in October 2005.
The second call is now open for projects that are funded
and do not need financial assistance from Futuresonic.

Introducing Future Everything
==========================

As the festival enters its second decade, a new
organisation responsible for Futuresonic has been
established. Future Everything is a not-for-profit
creative company that will continue our work in
art, emerging technologies and network culture
