BOSNIAN INSTITUTE EVENT & LATEST BOSNIA REPORT

Monday 6 March, 2000: Kurt Bassuener: "US Policy today in the former
Yugoslavia"

The Bosnian Institute's Monthly Public Forums are held on the first
Monday of every month except August (or the second Monday, if the first
is a Bank Holiday). Meetings take place in the Boardroom, University of
Westminster, 309 Regent Street, London, W1 from 7 to 9 PM. Closest
underground station: Oxford Circus.

Kurt Bassuener is Director of the Balkan Action Council, based in
Washington DC. He has recently returned from Bosnia where he was
involved in preparing a critical analysis of the OSCE's proposed
electoral law. Mr Bassuener was formerly Policy Analyst at the Balkan
Institute.
