Yes, it seems like switching from a mailing list to something like Elgg.org might be more useful and more palatable to the anti-corporate folks on the list. Even a ning.com network would have lots of new functionality without all the noise on facebook. I'd love to see nettime networking more into the networks we're critiquing here.
