I think it is fair to say that the most progressive left elements in Catalunya have been doing this for years! Since 2011. That's how they achieved so much more than any other progressive left formation across the Western world. However the situation is very difficult and the linkages that have been made do not automatically produce democratic social relations under the broader conditions of contemporary oligarchies.

I apprciate Simona's post because it shows what movement politics are about: actively trying to find the light at the end of a dark and crowded tunnel.
