STWST48x4 SLEEP 48 Hours Art as Sleep stwst48x4.stwst.at Start: Fr, Sept 7th, 2018, 14:00 End: Sun, Sept 9th, 2018, 14:00 STWST48x4 SLEEP - The 4th edition of Stadtwerkstatt's 48-hour nonstop program brings together artists and critical producers to address an aesthetics of the unconscious. Art for Sleepers, Art by Sleepers and Art as Sleep. Held in association with Ars Electronica 2018, the independently programmed 48 hour extravaganza includes SLEEP48, a project by Stadtwerkstadt and conceived by Shu Lea Cheang and Matthew Fuller, who were inspired by Fuller's latest book “How to Sleep, the art, biology and culture of unconsciousness”; RiP-RANDOMNESS IN PAST by INFOLAB/Franz Xaver; RIP - MUSIC AS A RANDOM GENERATOR by GIS Orchestra; MYCELIUM NETWORK SOCIETY, a STWST/cycleX initiative; QUASIKUNST by Tanja Brandmayr with installation WINDINESS and other continuous acts; REOUZERI 2018 as Open Artistic Concept by Jakob Breitwieser and PREVIOUS LAYERS which showcases Stadtwerkstatt Archive.
