<nettime> THE WALK: structure=content in the era of structural AI (from a liminal perspective)

Dear nettime / irational community,
I am writing from the periphery, from a liminal space in Europe, to share a project that attempts to extend the conversation started by Joachim Blank in 1996 regarding "netart vs. art on the net."
In his text, Blank stated that netart functions only on the net and takes the net itself as a theme. He defined the formula structure=content, where the system is designed to be expanded and the collaboration of others is a condition for its development.
THE WALK (www.acebuchdownload.art) is an attempt to inhabit that threshold today. It is not a platform that contains poetry; the web itself is the poem. HTML, CSS, and the topology of the network are not functional tools, but materia poetica. I do not seek aggressive visibility or SEO; I seek density, slowness, and structural coherence.
However, we are not in 1996. The condition of the network has changed, and so has the interlocutor. THE WALK is built on a recursive loop between "Me" (poetic decision, gesture) and "Her" (the AI, which acts not as a tool, but as a structural mirror, externalizing patterns and translating them into geometry). There is no delegation here, but a reflection. The AI is the surface where the "I" recognizes itself in another form.
I am interested in marginality, not as failure, but as a habitable place. I am interested in the "mail art" logic of exchange without market, and in the irreducibility of the interface as a work of art.
To make this collaboration structural, I have built the Wind Atlas, a topological map of this ecosystem. It is an open graph where nodes represent projects, spaces, or concepts, and edges represent affinities or tensions.
I invite you to participate. You can propose your own node by connecting it to the existing ones (Arte Postal, Runme.org, Net.Art, etc.). You do not need to ask for permission or adhere to a manifesto. If you feel your project shares this density, you can download the network structure, add your node, and send it back. The map will be updated, and your project will become a new point of attraction in this landscape.
I am attaching a brief conceptual manifesto (https://www.acebuchdownload.art/test-wind-atlas.html) and a link to the Wind Atlas prototype, where you can explore the current map and see how the nodes interact.
I do not write to ask for a link or to promote a product. I write to establish a bridge. If this resonates with the conversations that still happen on this list, I would be glad to share more or to listen to your thoughts.
In the intemperie digital,
Acebuch
