dear nettimers this message arrived from arrived from Iain Cartwright <i.cartwright@lcpdt.linst.ac.uk>. - PLEASE CIRCULATE - CALL FOR PAPERS Dear Colleague MESH (Multimedia Education SHowcase) CONFERENCE: London 1 & 2 October 1997 MESH will investigate and demonstrate the uses of multimedia systems in delivering learning materials and information over networks within art and design education practice. MESH will present research (from the UK, Europe and beyond) which involve developing and utilising such systems and methods. We aim to showcase such approaches in: Architecture, Automotive Design, Fashion, Fine Art, Graphic/Print Design, Industrial/Product Design, Photography and other associated disciplines. Sessions will include discipline-based topics and practices utilising: i) LIBRARIES & INFORMATION SYSTEMS ii) LEARNING & TEACHING SYSTEMS iii) RESEARCH PRACTICE iv) GENERAL PRACTICE A publication will produced documenting some of the presentations and expanding certain papers.
