<nettime> Query on Raymond Ruyer

Folks:

Just when you think that you've exhausted the literature, it dawns on you
that there are many literatures.

I wonder if any of you are familiar with the work and life of French
writer/professor Raymond Ruyer?  It appears that his many works on
cybernetics, gnosticism and the like have not been translated into English.
 It also seems that at least some people believe that he had an important
influence on D&G.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on Ruyer in private mail, thanks.
