[Nettime-nl] Smart Cinema 6 - 11 november |
Dear Madam or Sir, This week we show a beautyfull videoprogramme at 17.00 and 18.30 hours, with a special this Saturday and Sunday 17.00 hours because the director Caspar Stracke will be with us to give an introduction and after the film he'll be there to answer your questions... Although most films are worth watching, one particular film I would like to point out for you. It will be shown on Friday and Saturday- night at 00.30 hours: Step Acros the Border, made by two Suisse directors Humbert & Penzel. It is a visual portrait of world citizen Fred Frith, an experimental musician who is always on the road for idea's. It's difficult to say whether the images were added to the soundtrack or the other way around... I was watching the movie a long time ago in a very small cinema in Antwerp, Belgium.... When it was shown in Rotterdam about a year later, most of the same people I saw in Antwerp were there again.... Hope to see you some time in SMART CINEMA. Many kind regards, Kees Brienen.
