[Nettime-nl] 3-months post-doc at VKS, Amsterdam 

Hi there

I am doing this at the moment. It's one of those things that the managers running today's academy work hard to abolish: doing your work in a friendly and open environment while being paid a decent salary. Too bad it's only for three months.

*Virtual Knowledge Studio, second 3-month Postdoctoral Fellowship, KNAW, Amsterdam*

Applications are invited for three-month fellowships in Spring 2008 within the Virtual Knowledge Studio for the Humanities and Social Sciences (VKS). The fellowship is designed for junior scholars who have recently received their PhDs in order to provide the following: experience of working within an interdisciplinary research group, an opportunity to prepare material for publication and to develop new research ideas. During the three months of the fellowship, a senior member of the VKS staff will act as mentor.
