And yes, Alex Payne is disturbed. So am I. For quite some time now. It's
"the end to the ?hacker era? of digital history" - sounds like Geert's
"the short summer of the Internet". Truth is that Apple has always been
one the most closed, most public-feindish corporation around. Led by a
schizophrenic sociopath zombie sauntering around like Charlton Heston in
the closing scene of El Cid. He sues children writing to him, mind you
(which btw does make perfect sense). But Apple is not alone and stands for
a far more pervasive corporate ideology and practice.

Ah well, as Rocky Amadeus has it: "Don't Happy. Be Worry" ...
