Time/Bank is a platform where groups and individuals can pool and trade time and skills, bypassing money as a measure of value. Instead, time is used as the currency of this bank. Our sixth Time/Bank Live Session! Question of the month 'Why would I want to use the Time/Bank?''There are many reasons why. Maybe you have time but no money. Maybe you want to look outside of your current network and meet new people. Maybe you want to create a project with international partners. Maybe you are simply curious. Joining is free and easy!'
Successful dealsThe last two months, a lot of successful deals took place. There have been postcards designed, articles written, houses refurbished, computers fixed, press releases translated, flyers distributed and much, much more. For most needs, there is a skilled person in the Time/ Bank network willing to work for Hour Notes. Find a match online, in the Time/Store or during one of our Live Sessions!
Live SessionsAfter F.A.S.T. Surfers village and several sessions at Occupy Den Haag and Amsterdam, the partners of Shell expats in The Netherlands came to Stroom to learn more about the Time/Bank. We had a fantastic audience and a great live session with a diverse group of people with amazing skills. Here’s a small teaser of what they can offer you: Cooking Italian food, Italian language training, Chemistry/Math lessons, Teaching silk painting, Teaching Chinese painting, Teaching glass painting, Healing through touch, Teach French, Communication advise …

Time/GalleryThe Time/Store opened its own Time/Gallery where original artworks are bought and sold for Hour Notes. Four works have been sold so far. Come and check out the Time/Gallery at the Time/Store!
Still going strong: in the category Sweet DealsIn Het Nutshuis in The Hague you can pay for films with Hour Notes. One film costs 30 minutes and you even get a free drink!
For the program go to: www.nutshuis.nl Collaboration between the Time/Bank and other projects Honey Bank meets Time/BankDuring the DAG HAP festival in The Hague, the French artist Olivier Darné + Le Parti Poétique created a local Honey Bank. The Time/Store at Stroom Den Haag is now selling the local honey from The Hague!
Time/Bank is sponsoring the project Fosfor at Walden Affairs in The Hague Gijs Frieling and Ad de Jong turned Walden Affairs into a house full of murals, plastic sculptures, hay bales with blankets. It is a space to read, to talk, eat or take a nap. Drinks are available for Hour Notes (3 drinks = 30 minutes). Walden Affairs is part of the Time/Bank network where they offer their space and give artistic advice:

The Time/Bank team is available Wednesday till Sunday from 12 noon till 5 pm in the Time/Store located at Stroom Den Haag, Hogewal 1-9, The Hague (NL).
