(monitoring the festival/missed the opening:) right
theme, wrong film: about media ethics, real knowledge
and "what you can do with media": i saw the old 80s
movie _Brainstorm_ on video with some friends which
starts up with the invention of a kind of mindman (a
walkman for thoughts and feelings), goes on with the
fight against evil plans of the military and ends with the
destruction of the mindman factory by hacking it's
computernetwork and the answer to the question what
comes after death is given because it was recorded on
a mindman. "Research for a better tomorrow". (ms)
