Koristno je i dobro cete se provesti.Ako vas jos nesto zanima, pisite mi.  pozdrav  Zemira-------------------------------------------------------Docs in ThessalonikiPitching Forum 2000  March 28-April 1 2000in Thessaloniki, Greece  Organised by EDN, European Documentary Network in collaboration with the MEDIA Desk Hellas and Thessaloniki Documentary Festival supported by MEDIA Promotion and Soros Documentary Fund of the Open Society Institute.  Producers from Greece, the other Southern European (Italy, Spain and Portugal) and the Balkan countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, Fyrom, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria) are invited to apply for participation in a documentary pitching forum that consists of 4 days intensive training and information.  The first day is devoted to give a general overview of the market situation for documentaries in Western Europe. The two subsequent days are group work, where the producers meet with international experts and colleagues, who help them improve and target their projects to the international market. During the days pitching is also taught to prepare the producers for the last two days, where they meet a panel of European commisioning editors from 4 to 5 countries. During the two mornings the projects are pitched in public to the panelists with individual meetings in the afternoons.  "Docs in Thessaloniki - Pitching Forum 2000" gives the independent producer a unique chance of presenting a project internationally, to meet colleagues and create alliances for future cooperation in a Europe, where coproductions are becoming more and more common and necessary for the producers. Also this Forum provides a good first opportunity to welcome producers from the Balkan countries.  To apply the producers must send in - in English - a two page description of their documentary project containing the following elements:- title, length, format, budget, financing plan of the project- name of producer and director etc., cv, filmography- synopsis, visual treatment, director's idea- if visual material (a pilot, shootings) is available- remember address, phone, fax and e-mail of your company  Deadline: February 14th 2000.  The selection will be done by EDN and the results will be communicated February 21.  Participation for producers with project (24 producers may take part) costs 250 EUROs including 4 lunches.  Participation for observers without project (maximum 10) costs 150 EUROs including 4 lunches.  For the selected producers from the Balkan countries funding is available for hotel and accomodation due to a grant from Soros Documentary Fund.  Projects should be sent to EDN, European Documentary Network, 29A Skindergade, 1159 K., Denmark, +4533131122 (phone), +4533131144 (fax), email: tue@edn.dk  More information:Tue Steen Müller, EDNIoanna Haritatou, MEDIA Desk Hellas  Â
