New Media Scotland presents: Life Measure Constructions, a new internet work by Jorn Ebner. http://www.lifemeasure.org The artist invites the viewer to create their own worlds on the web. An interactive electronic drawing, Life Measure Constructions allows us to free our imaginations and make decisions as to how the online environment will develop. Life Measure Constructions will be accessible until 28 February 2001. Jorn's work is concerned with situations such as migration, settling down, creating environments. In his performances and drawings, he uses objects as playful tools to create visual narratives. Recent projects have included participating in the Pocketbook publication 'Without Day', a show at Mota Gallery, London and a residency in Grizedale forest. Programming and interactive design - Simon Yuill Life Measure Constructions is a New Media Scotland commission. The work was made as a result of the artist's residency at The Visual Research Centre, part of the faculty of Art & Design of The University of Dundee.
