F�RGFABRIKEN REALITY BITES SEMINAR NO 3 PRODUCTION, INSTITUTIONS AND MARKET - ART IN THE AGE OF TRANSFORMATION How does the production of art function today - seen in a broader perspective? How do the institutions in the art world relate to the transformations that are given by technological, economical and other changes? Is there a market for art - and if, does it exist in representation or in other forms? At Färgfabriken classical institutions, such as the Moderna museet in Stockholm and the Contemporary Art Museum in Helsinki, contemporary art centers such as Magasin 3 Stockholms Konsthall and Rooseum, Malmö and production based institutions such as Muu, Helsinki, the Purple Institute, Paris and Fabrica, Italy meet and their representatives get a chance to discuss the contemporary situation from different perspectives and positions.
