Syndicate: ALERT!!!

Dear friends,

There seems to have been a serious problem with the Majordomo on which the
Syndicate list is running. This morning I discovered that all addresses
were deleted from the list, including my own. I have now re-subscribed
everybody and I hope that there will be no further problems. I have written
to the system operator at the AEC and hope to get a report on what happened
soon.

The last message that I received was

I am also thinking about publishing the list of the members of the
syndicate list in order for everybody to be able to check whether there are
people missing from my records. What do you think about this? Necessary or
not? Majority wins.
